Loop Systems and Environmental Aids

  • System 1: Comprises amplifier, microphone and loop cable, covers up to 30 sq.metres dual action AGC (automatic Gain Control) separate bass and treble controls. Volume level set by user, SCART lead for television Frequency response 100 - 7000Hz.
  • System 2: Amplifier, microphone and loop cushion for home use.
  • System 2A: Car loop system
  • System 3: Different sizes to adapt to different size rooms. Up to 160 sq.m and from 160sq.m. to 650 sq.m. Including: Doorbell and telephone over ride facility, five output levels to match output to room size two low impedance inputs from radio/TV five pin DIN for tape recorders etc. Frequency response: 125 - 12000Hz
  • Portable systems: Cover up to 200sq.m. Boundary microphones and dynamic microphones, aluminium carry case 60m. cable Frequency response 100 - 5000Hz system also available with radio microphones.

Specialist Systems

  • Conference folder: makes it possible for people with impaired hearing to fully participate in meetings at work or in lectures. The amplifier and two microphones are built into an elegant folder. Two microphones pick up speech and transmit the sound to the ear via a neck loop controlled by volume control.
  • Over the counter system: for your reception area.
  • Conversor: hand held microphone/transmitter, with neck loop and battery charger system. For use by those with "T" position on hearing aid.
  • FM systems: Microlink by phonak and Lexis systems.

Tinnitus Management

  • Relaxation noise generator, complete with built in electronic timer, this device features 7 soothing sounds to relax you at work or in the home, ideal for tinnitus sufferers. Can be either AC/DC or battery operated, is compact in size and shape, and finally digital microchip recordings so there are no tapes or CD's to buy.
  • Tinnitus Adaptation Therapy Programme: Developed in the USA, this tinnitus adaptation therapy programme has been proven to provide significant results for tinnitus sufferers when used in conjunction with a white noise generator. During trials over 60% of subjects reported a positive result after just 30 days, rising to 100% of subjects after 150 days. As can be seen, a form of training and practice, like any hearing impairment can improve quality of life as long as the patient is motivated.

Telephone amplifiers

  • Round or square design to fit your phone or amplified telephones

Infra-red and hardwired listening devices

  • Ideal for individuals situations such as listening to the TV.
